The financial crisis increased religiosity
The global financial crisis could promote an increase in religiosity, publishes Epiphenom, following the results of a recent study in the United States. Two sociologists called Matt Bradshaw of the University of North Carolina, and Chris Ellison in the University of Texas at Austin analyzed data from adults aged 18 to 59 years, collected in the U.S. General Social Survey (General Social Survey of America), to determine whether psychosocial stress could be linked to poverty and if this, in turn, could be linked to various aspects of religion.
According to the researchers in an article in Social Science & Medicine, so far, although there is a wide range of social and theological analysis, few studies have systematically examined the role of religion as mitigating the effects of socio-economic problems in mental health. In an attempt to overcome this shortcoming, Bradshaw and Ellison tried to define the objective relations between the financial crisis, various aspects of religious life and psychological stress.

Inside Job, the film about the U.S. financial crisis
Taking advantage of Sunday evening it was raining in Madrid I’ve been to the cinema to see “Inside Job” a documentary film directed by Charles Ferguson, and which won the Oscar for best documentary in 2010 and we try to explain how it has cooked one of the worst financial crisis in the U.S..
Worth spending the 8 euros worth of tickets to see them, in fact I think it is mandatory for anyone who wants to understand why we are where we are right now. That if only I warn you Inside Job, more than a documentary would be in the category of horror movies and is very likely that you have nightmares. I think tonight I’ll dream about the faces of Larry Summers and Alan Greenspan and others.
Some of the things explained in the film we have commented on the blog, no further than a couple of days in the post ” economic crisis. When we turn from a capitalist system to a bank dictatorship “and you can guess which way the shots. Just seeing the intersection of interest between Wall Street bankers, regulators, politicians, rating agencies, insurers, it is easy to understand why nothing has happened here, and because banks on Wall Street are now larger and more powerful than ever.
If anyone thinks that our country is not happening the same as in the U.S. that does not lead to deception. Only thus can we understand that the rescue of a single savings bank, the CAM cost us 2,800 million, half the 6,000 million euro cost the E Plan that would help, rightly or wrongly to alleviate the recession and was quickly struck to meet the requirements of deficit.
When a person or family is in a crisis situation of economic
When a person or family is in a crisis situation of economic or financial crisis began to emerge many problems both emotional and even physical, it is therefore important to be aware of this and put a solution.
When money takes one of the first effects is the stress, constant preoccupation with the crisis or personal or family finances can result in health deterioration, irritability and poor attention to other issues.
Problems also arise with the partner over money, we usually have habits or ways of life hardly changed, but when we are facing a crisis is necessary to analyze the situation, make or adjust our budgets and talk with our partner.
If all this is very difficult sometimes is preferable to seek outside professional assistance to follow through problems without a solution or apparent departure both for personal health as well as the spouse and children.
